Turn Invoices Downloaded From the Tax Portal Into Excel and a Dashboard in 3 Minutes
Step by step: upload your e-invoice files and have a dashboard with supplier analysis, VAT distribution and spend trends ready within minutes.
Every month you download dozens, maybe hundreds, of e-invoices from the Turkish Revenue Administration portal or your ERP software. While those files pile up on your computer or in a shared folder, the data inside them — spend by supplier, VAT rates, exchange rate differences — sits unused.
In this guide we'll show you, step by step, how to turn those files into an analysis dashboard in 3 minutes.
Before You Start: Prepare Your E-Invoices
EFaturaFlow supports e-invoices in PDF and HTML format, downloaded from your ERP or the tax administration portal.
| Supported | Not Supported |
|---|---|
| PDF downloaded from the tax portal | Scanned PDF |
| PDF exported from ERP software | XML files |
| HTML downloaded from the tax portal | ZIP archives |
| HTML exported from ERP software | Photo/image files |

Register for free at efaturaflow.com. You can use every feature without limits for 15 days. No credit card required.
You can also register with your Google account — one-click sign-in.
After signing in to the dashboard, choose the package that fits your need:
| Package | What It Produces | Who It's For |
|---|---|---|
| General List | Invoice summary list (date, amount, supplier, VAT) | Accounting, quick checks |
| Detail List | Line-level detail (product, quantity, unit price, VAT) | Accounting (detailed checks), procurement supplier comparison |
| Data Center | Cumulative invoice line items, cross analysis, pivot, supplier concentration | CFO, strategic decisions |
Drop your files into the upload area by drag and drop. Multiple files can be uploaded at once. Maximum 50 MB.
The files you upload are processed automatically:
- Invoice content is recognized and converted into structured data
- Supplier names are matched
- VAT rates and amounts are parsed
- For foreign-currency invoices, the Central Bank rate is taken as reference
- Incomplete transfers are detected and corrected automatically
Processing time depends on file count: 10 invoices ~30 seconds, 100 invoices ~3–4 minutes.
When processing finishes, your interactive dashboard is ready. The sections you'll see:
- KPI cards: total amount, supplier count, average invoice amount
- Supplier distribution: spend shares and concentration analysis
- Periodic trend: monthly spend chart
- VAT distribution: VAT analysis by rate
- Currency distribution: breakdown by TRY, USD, EUR
- Data quality: summary of missing or corrected fields
You can download the dashboard to your computer as a single HTML file. The downloaded file needs no internet connection, works offline, can be shared by email and archived.
A Real Example: 51 Invoices, 8 Suppliers
In a test upload of 51 e-invoice files (mixed PDF + HTML), the system produced these results:
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Processing time | 47 seconds |
| Suppliers recognized | 8 / 8 |
| Total amount | 1,882,660 TRY |
| Unique item types | 63 |
| Largest supplier share | 53.6% (Supplier A) |
| Currency distribution | 65.7% TRY, 34.3% USD |
This data was obtained without any manual entry — just by uploading files.
"Entering 51 invoices into accounting software one by one takes half a day at minimum. In EFaturaFlow it took 47 seconds, and the supplier analysis and VAT distribution came ready on top."
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to change my accounting software?
No. EFaturaFlow doesn't replace your existing software — it sits alongside it. You keep your accounting records as before. EFaturaFlow adds an analysis layer.
Are my invoices secure?
All files are transferred with TLS 1.2+ encryption and stored with AES-256. Your data is protected on infrastructure compliant with KVKK (Turkey's GDPR-equivalent data protection law). You can delete your account at any time and request permanent removal of all your data.
How many invoices can I upload?
You can upload up to 50 MB of files at a time. There is no limit on invoice count. You can upload 10 invoices or 500. The more e-invoices you upload, the longer processing takes, proportionally.
Can I get an Excel output?
Yes. Alongside the dashboard, a structured Excel file can be downloaded. You can import that file into your existing ERP system or use it for your own analyses.
